It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our house! I have my tree up in my room, we have started to put our decorations out in the rest of the house, our new tree should be here tomorrow (We decided to get a fake tree this year, boo!), and Peatree's cage has been decorated with Christmas toys! (I'm still making them for the budgie cage)

Fly High Dudley

Today I found my Dudley laying at the bottom of his cage. He was still alive, but he wasn't well at all. My mom was at work, and she had the car with her, so I couldn't take him to the vet, so, I wrapped him up in a blanket and cuddled with him. Well, my baby didn't make it.

I can't believe it. I only had him for two week. But ya know, you sure can get attached to a little budgie in two weeks. He was so amazing, I loved him so much.

Tomorrow, it will have been one month since Jacob passed. I have lost two birds in one month. At least I know Jacob was there to welcome Dudley onto the Rainbow Bride.

Parrot Adventures

What's the best way to spend a Sunday? I know! Hanging out with parrots and their slaves, uh, I mean owners! (:P) And that's just what we do once a month at Parrot Adventures, hang out at the park and talk about our fabies and play with other fabies! It's so much fun!

All of the birds pictured above are very sweet and different. Gabby said "Hi!", "Hello!", and "I love you!" the whole time, Jenny liked to cuddle, Lily was a active girl, Lulu liked to have her belly rubbed, and Sammy is just the sweetest! I love that bird SO much! He'll just sit there and cuddle into your chest. He is SO sweet! <3

Hello Internet! I thought it would be fun to start a blog, so, I did!

My name is Maddy, I am a crazy bird person, horse lover, and artist. I have five beautiful parrots that I love so much! I almost always have a bird on me, while I'm doing school work, while I'm online, while I'm watching TV, while I'm eating, and even sometimes while I'm at a craft or pet store!

Let me introduce my babies!

This is Peatree Abbigail, she is 4 year old pineapple green cheek conure. She is a mommy girl, loves to be with me any chance she gets. She is very nippy, but will let me do anything to her. <3

This is Weasley Emmy May, she is a 2 year old budgie. She was my first bird, and is pretty sweet for a budgie.

This is Bellatrix Butterfly, Bella for short. She is year old budgie. She hates everybody, and it is very rare to get her to step up. But I love her.

This is Hermione Rose, she is a 2 year old budgie. Mione is hands off, but loves to be near you and try to steal your food!

Last is Dudley Jacob Periwinkle, he is a year old budgie. I've only had him for about two weeks, but he is so sweet and is very good at stepping up. He is the sweetest budgie in my flock.
